How do I schedule my first online session?

Simply download and complete the attached in-take paperwork, available here. Please submit the completed paperwork to intake@theithacapractice.com. Upon receipt, you will be contacted using your preferred contact method to schedule an initial session.


Do you accept insurance?

We operate on a subscription-based, private-pay model to keep our sessions flexible and confidential.


What technology do I need for virtual therapy?

Any computer, tablet, or smartphone with a stable internet connection, camera, and microphone will work. Our platform is HIPAA-compliant and easy to access through your browser—no downloads required.


What should I expect from the first session?

During the first session, your psychotherapist will complete a condensed behavioral health assessment to compile a case conceptualization and provide a provisional diagnosis by the following session. This may not feel like heavy therapeutic work, but it is an essential first step.
